Merchants Commercial Bank Donates School Supplies and Uniforms to the Foster Children Program in St. Thomas/St. John District

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – August 2024 – Merchants Commercial Bank is proud to announce its recent donation of school supplies and uniforms to foster children in the St. Thomas/St. John District. This contribution aims to support the educational needs and well-being of children in the foster care program as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

The donation includes essential school supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, and folders, as well as school uniforms. This initiative is a part of Merchants Commercial Bank's ongoing commitment to supporting the USVI community.

The donation was made in collaboration with the Department of Human Services, which identified the needs of the children in the district. Merchants Commercial Bank worked closely with the Department of Human Services to ensure that the supplies and uniforms provided met the specific requirements of the schools in the area.
